Moving from the late 70’s and early 80’s of the first edition, Volume 2 represents a 28 year period of great music emanating from the UK. Ranging from Light of the World’s ‘Pete’s Crusade’ in 1980 to Reel People’s ‘Outta Love’ in 2008, there’s 13 tracks highlighting the best of the last three decades here. Other tracks appear from Jamiroquai, Incognito, Brand New Heavies from their debut set, Young Disciples likewise and Touch. There’s also some early Level 42, Hil St. Soul from her first album and the legendary Heatwave. There’s also Mike Carr and Cargo with the incredible ‘Holding On For Love’ and if you haven’t heard that track before, it’s certainly worth the price of a free download!
