The third in this wonderfully enjoyable retrospective of all things British, opens with a phenomenal US Mix of Level 42’s Wings Of Love from 1980. What contradiction? Central Line follow, or do we follow on the Central Line, with ‘Don’t Tell Me’, Reid provide the EWF like ‘Good Times’ and then Omar and David Grant – he of Linx fame, contribute manfully. Classic sounds from the classic groups follow: Heatwave, The Real Thing and incognito, Inner Shade, with a track from their 4 Corners set. Slightly less well known offerings come from The Breakfast Band from ’82 and Kevin East with ‘Angel Eyes’ from ’03. We finish off with a gem from the full line-up of Incognito and a blast from the past from Snowboy.
