Decades: 2000 + Vol.2
It was only back in June that the first volume of Extra Inches – Decades: 2000+ was produced and has since become one of our most downloaded podcasts to-date. In this thirteen track episode, expect some of the good stuff from the UK’s finest, Incognito, Grupo-X and Akiko & Corinne Drewery – o.k. so Akiko comes from Japan, Three out of four… There’s classics from Debórah Bond, Kem from his debut set and Ledisi, the lady with the imminent new album about to drop, with a great track from her second CD: Feeling Orange but Sometimes Blue. We’ve got Angie Stone with Calvin Richardson, the uplifting Marvin Winans, the ever-dependable Impromp2, the best cut from Jill Scott’s last album and the evergreen Earth, Wind & Fire. Tommy Sims moves us closer to the sixty minute mark with the Shannon Sanders led classic, A New Jam and finally, the now flying solo Van Hunt, with a track from his debut, eponymous album. Enjoy!
