Returning for the first time in 2010, The Jazz 60 features thirteen tracks and kicks off with Tia Fuller’s ‘Ebb & Flow’ from her forthcoming Mack Avenue release ‘Decisive Steps’. The album, which features both Sean Jones and Christian McBride, is not to put too finer point on it, incredible. How to follow that? Music from the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Canada’s The Souljazz Orchestra with two tracks from their best album to date, Papik, Robby Ameen, William Green & Magic Dream, Dr. Rubberfunk, The Mighty Mocambos, Brazilian Groove Band, Lionel A. Jones Jr and the BGB producer, Leo Gandleman with a track from the ‘Garrincha’ soundtrack.
