Pablo Showcase – Volume 1

Pablo Showcase

Volume 1

Founded in 1973, Pablo Records – named after the Spanish artist, was Norman Granz’s successor to his own Verve Records. Initial artists such as Ella, Joe Pass & Oscar Peterson would be later joined by many more jazz greats.

Mike Chadwick presents the first Pablo Showcase which reads like a Who’s Who of jazz. With the emphasis on music from the 70’s, expect to hear magnificence from Oscar Peterson, Count Basie, Ella, Dizzy & the percussion legend Paulinho da Costa.

Your feedback is always welcome and we hope you enjoy another unique presentation from SoulandJazz.com.
