Two years have passed since last stepping behind the microphone. Inspired by the programming recently across S&J, now felt like the right time to get back amongst it. Don’t get me wrong, I never went away, just the usual case of one pair of hands and only 24 hours in day meant something had to give. Time for change.
From now on I’ll be presenting a three-hour show every month with the usual mix of the old and new, Soul, Jazz-Funk, Disco, and anything else I happen upon that’ll make our ears happy.
I’d welcome feedback. Not because I need to know you enjoyed it, of course you will (!), but three hours is a long listen and I’m keen to understand how that works for you. Answers on a postcard to the usual address please.
Now then. Are you sitting comfortably? Then we’ll begin.
