JAZZ LOGO reversedIn 2012 Japan launched their 1,000 Yen Jazz re-issues series. This collectable range now spans over 300 classic & rare jazz albums, with sales of over 600,000 units to date. The first 100 releases, by artists such as Charles Mingus and The Modern Jazz Quartet are now available in their original Japanese packaging. Allow Mike Chadwick to introduce you to the emerging nature of the label as it developed its’ sound moving from the 50s into the 60s.
