This collectable range now spans over 300 classic & rare jazz albums, with sales of over 600,000 units to date. The first 100 releases, by artists such as Charles Mingus and The Modern Jazz Quartet are now available in their original Japanese packaging.   • Pablo Showcase - Volume 1. Founded in 1973, Pablo Records – named after the Spanish artist, was Norman Granz’s successor to his own Verve Records. Initial artists such as Ella, Joe Pass & Oscar Peterson would be later joined by many more jazz greats. Mike Chadwick presents the first Pablo Showcase which reads like a Who’s Who of jazz. With the emphasis on music from the 70’s, expect to hear magnificence from Oscar Peterson, Count Basie, Ella, Dizzy & the percussion legend Paulinho da Costa.
